J.W. Oliver was born in France the son of a proud, hard-working Air Force Master Sergeant North Carolinian and a Texan mother who raised 4 kids and taught us to love Jesus above all. Spent most of his life in Texas, where he and his wife married in 1994 and raised two children who both love the Lord. Lives part time in Mexico, and anywhere else he can find free lodging. Has loved all his dogs, but Oscar is King. Has the most perfect wife, none can compare.
As an entrepreneur since age 12 reselling “Pop-Rocks” from his middle school locker, he has started up more than a dozen companies from the medical digital imaging, an international resort property management company to a skateboard park. (last one was a quick failure).
He is an avid traveler who enjoys seeing the world. Has traveled to 5 of 7 continents, but has no desire to see the cold of Antarctica! Sees an opportunity in every obstacle. Holds a multi-engine/Instrument pilots license but can’t afford the gas. Was a file paper away from a Master’s degree(life got in the way). Completed two ½ Iron-Men races, six Half-Marathons, hiked 6 days from Cusco to Machu Picchu all after the age of 48. Loves to keep the “Bucket List” full. He loves to see others laugh and desires most of all to encourage others and show them Jesus.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sail. Explore. Dream. Discover. – Mark Twain
